At the request of the Ministry of Health/PAHO, the days 23 y 24 of May in the city of Rancagua and 25 y 26 in the city of Santa Cruz, 3 teachers of the Chilean Hypertension Society, took the course 20 academic hours “Training for Monitor Instructors in Accurate Blood Pressure Measurement”, which allowed us to update knowledge on arterial hypertension in adults and train monitor instructors in teaching this technique. In the Rancagua course, 33 professionals in the suitability in this technique: 26 University Nurses, 3 Nutritionists, 2 Kinesiólogos, 1 Matrón y una Matrona, y una TENS; en el de Santa Cruz, 23 personas: 18 University Nurses, 3 Nutritionists, 1 Kinesiólogo y 1 TENS. Se espera que estas personas repliquen el curso en sus lugares de trabajo en un tiempo prudencial, para lo cual la Sociedad entregó todo el material educativo correspondiente.
