Researchers of the Department of Nutritional Sciences of the King´s College London evaluated the effect of consuming anthocyanins, polyphenol that gives blueberries their color, in the regulation of blood pressure. The study was carried out in 40 participants, who were in perfect health, and they were randomly divided into two groups. The first group was supplied 200 grams of blueberries and the second group (control) They were given a drink with minerals.
